ABOUT ME
Hey, I'm Jenko!
I’m Jenko, I live in Melbourne, Australia, and I build apps. Some of them are playful, like Hex Shift, and some of them are practical, like Picket List, but they all come from the same place: I like making digital tools that feel sharp, intentional, and easy to come back to.
Everything I know has been self-taught. I started out learning through game engines, late nights, YouTube rabbit holes, and a lot of trial and error. That background still shapes how I build now. Even when I’m making utility apps, I care about pacing, feedback, clarity, and making the experience feel satisfying instead of just functional.
I’m big on foundations. I’d rather spend more time getting the structure right than stacking features on top of something shaky. That applies to game loops, app flows, naming, UI, support pages, launch prep, all of it. If the base is clean, everything else gets easier.
Outside of development, I’m usually at the gym or drinking way too much coffee. That routine matters to me because building solo is a long game. Consistency beats random bursts of motivation every time.
This site is now the portfolio home for the apps I’m shipping. It’s centered on the actual products, the support behind them, and the direction I’m heading next.
The Build Style
I like products that feel direct and polished. Clear UI, strong feedback, and a sense that every screen has a purpose. Whether it’s a puzzle game or a jobsite utility, I want it to feel tight.
The Balance
I build around real life, which means staying disciplined, keeping momentum, and making steady progress even when time is limited. Shipping solo has taught me to value systems over chaos.
The Direction
This portfolio is the public-facing layer of what I’m building: live apps, launch-ready support pages, and the next projects that are getting close enough to share properly.
