Overview

Holy Scroll is a scripture app built to provide a calmer, more personal feed experience. This Privacy Policy explains how information is handled when you use Holy Scroll.

Information Collected for App Functionality

Holy Scroll uses Sign in with Apple. When you sign in, the app may receive and store your Apple user identifier, name, and email address when provided by Apple so your account can function correctly.

Holy Scroll also maintains account-linked app data such as your display name, onboarding preferences, liked and saved verses, vault collections, reading history, and reminder settings so the app can work as intended across sessions and devices.

Local Storage and iCloud Sync

Holy Scroll stores app data locally on your device and uses iCloud-backed syncing through Apple services so likes, vault items, and preferences can stay in sync when available. This syncing is used for app functionality, not for tracking or advertising.

Purchases and Support Subscriptions

Holy Scroll offers optional weekly support subscriptions through Apple’s in-app purchase system. Purchase history may be processed by Apple and checked by the app to determine whether support is active. Payment information is handled by Apple, not by JENKO.

Notifications

If you enable reminders, Holy Scroll may request notification permission and schedule local daily reminder notifications on your device. The app still functions if notification access is declined.

Tracking and Third-Party Services

Holy Scroll does not use third-party advertising SDKs and is not designed for cross-app tracking. The app relies on Apple services such as Sign in with Apple, iCloud/CloudKit, notifications, and the App Store purchase system for core functionality.

Data Sharing

JENKO does not sell your personal information. Data connected to your Holy Scroll account may be processed by Apple services only to provide authentication, syncing, reminders, and subscription support.

Your Choices

You can update your display name, preferences, and reminders in the app. You can also sign out or reset your account data from the account area of the app. Deleting the app removes local app data from your device, while data synced through Apple services may persist until removed through those services or reset in-app.

Children’s Privacy

Holy Scroll does not knowingly collect personal information from children for tracking or advertising purposes. If you believe personal information has been provided inappropriately, please make contact.

Changes to This Policy

This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time. If changes are made, the updated version will be posted on this page with a revised effective date.
